Pricing Information

All cakes are available in most shapes and sizes and the majority can be offered in traditional fruit, sponge with butter-cream and jam, a very moist chocolate cake, lemon sponge or carrot cake with a luscious orange butter-cream filling.

Your cake will be finished with sugar-paste and supplied in a box ready for collection or delivery.

All wedding cakes will be delivered and set up free of charge in a 20 mile radius of Whitstable. For distances further than this there will be a small delivery charge. For free delivery of small individual and cup cakes a minimum of 80 cakes will need to be ordered to still receive free delivery.

If you require any other type of celebration or novelty cake delivered there will be delivery charge for this service if out of the Whitstable area.

For a no obligation quote and a chance to have a tasting session of some of the cakes on offer, please give me a call to arrange an appointment on 01227 276849. I am very flexible with times and can arrange an appointment during the day on Tuesday through to Saturday. Evening appointments are available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Prices are very competitive and include Cake-stand and knife hire for wedding cakes if required. If you let me know how many people your cake will need to feed and an idea of what design you are looking for I will be able to give you an idea of cost. Final price will depend on exact design chosen.

Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required for all cake orders and balances paid as follows.

For novelty and other celebration cakes the final balance is due on collection. Payment needs to be either cash or cheque supported by a banker's card.

For wedding cakes a deposit of 1//3 rd of the total cost is due once the order has been made and details checked by you. The balance is due no later than 14 days before the date of the wedding.

Cancellation

If you have to cancel your cake order, you will be liable for any items that have been ordered in especially for your cake and for any work that may have already been started. This is in addition to the non-refundable deposit paid.

Terms and Conditions

Every cake is handmade and although every effort will be made to match up colours and designs chosen, differences can occur and I therefore reserve the right to use judgment when creating the cake and make a slight change if required.

Whilst your cake may not have nuts or a nut product present in it, it will be prepared in a kitchen where these products are used.

Fruit cakes are always covered in a coating of marzipan before icing as are chocolate cakes before the final chocolate coating is added.

Once the cake has been collected or delivered, Cakes for All Occasions can not be held responsible for any interference or damage to the cake.

Most items on the cake are made out of sugar-paste but are not edible as they may contain wires, jewels and a high concentrate of colour. It is your responsibility to ensure that either you or your caterers are aware that they will need to be removed before serving the cake.
